로마를 눈으로 산책할 수 있는, Woody Allen의 <로마 위드 러브(To Rome with love)>

지금껏 보지 못했던 우디 앨런 감독의 영화들을 하나 둘 보고 있는데, 즐겁다.

무엇보다도 최근에 본 그의 영화들은 모두 세계적인 관광지로 꼽히는 멋진 장소들을 영화 배경으로 삼고 있기 때문이다. 

 

이번에 본 <로마 위드 러브(To Rome with love, 2011)>는 이태리의 수도 로마를 배경으로 하지만,

<미드나잇 인 파리(Midnight in Paris, 2011)>는 프랑스 수도 파리를,

<내 남자의 아내도 좋아(Vicky Cristina Barcelona,2008)>는 스페인의 바르셀로나를 배경으로 하고 있어

영화배경을 즐기는 것만으로 영화가 흥미롭다.

<미드나잇 인 파리>는 "Si tu vois ma mere"라는 샹송으로 영화를 시작하고 있는 것처럼,

<로마 위드 러브>에서는 "Volare"라는 이태리 노래로 시작한다.

 

 

이 노래는 1958년 Domenico Modugno 버전(Nel blu dipinto di blu)"으로  "유러비전 콩쿨"에서 3등한 곡이라고 한다.

1959년에는 그래미 1위상을 받았고 58년 8월과 9월에 걸쳐 빌보드 차트 5주간 1위를 차지했다고 한다.
